下岗老职工哈姆雷特的人生独白：（摘自新编《王子复仇记》）

哈姆雷特:（痛苦彷徨中的独白）
选择生存或毁灭,对于高贵的灵魂才会是个问题！
宁愿忍气吞声的忍受暴政和命运的交攻？还是奋起
与昏暗的宦海商场的贪婪幽灵宣战、誓将它们扫个干净？
死不过就如同睡眠, 倘若一眠能最终了结耻辱贫病对心灵与肉体之折磨,
那么为复仇而死的结局对我们是那么的可盼!
去死吧！快睡吧！在沉默中忍耐吧！这正是它们那些背叛者们正求之不得意愿！
但即使我们死去、悲惨的现实恶梦也许会继续随我们进入死之长眠中？
即使摆脱了垂死之皮囊但屈辱和仇恨却依然存在！这就是制止我去死的阻碍！
否则谁甘心忍受权贵爪牙们的鞭挞驱赶和歧视、
谁甘心忍受剥削压迫者的虐待、
谁甘心忍受傲慢暴富者的霸道欺辱和轻慢，
无法忍受家庭破裂孤独流离失散的痛苦、
无法忍受衙门贪官污吏的贪婪自私、
无法忍受不公正法庭的推搡拖延，
过去终日不计报酬、做牛做马、埋头劳作的干到老、
现在却被作威作福和投机取巧的小人一脚踢出去，
还不如干脆用杀人的尖刀一下使我们和家人得到解脱啊！
现在为了家人甘心拖着疲惫多病的生命，呻吟、流汗！
谁知那个令人惧怕的死亡国度、
那个从未有人返回的、 从未被活人发现的铁幕领地，
会不会那边也是如此这般？
因为众人动摇了意志才会宁愿忍气吞声，
而不愿为更多的选择而奋起奔向即使有牺牲的未来！
于是乎顾虑使我们都变成了懦夫，
于是乎决断决行的传统本色被蒙上了惨白的思虑的病容，
于是乎轰轰烈烈的大作大为的历史被扭曲和错过，
该当家作主的失去了话语和行动的名分、变成窃窃私语的独白！
哦、美丽的莪菲丽亚！——我的自由女神，为我祷告吧！
别忘了替我忏悔软弱之罪！
Hamlet:To be, or not to be- that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them. To die- to sleep-
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to. 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die- to sleep.
To sleep- perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub!
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th' oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despis'd love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of th' unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? Who would these fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death-
The undiscover'd country, from whose bourn
No traveller returns- puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry
And lose the name of action.
